Loop Hearing Systems
Many people of all ages rely on Induction loop systems to help overcome hearing difficulties. Systems may be fixed or portable, wired loop systems or infrared. Each type is designed with specific locations in mind.
A typical induction loop hearing system will comprise of a microphone to pick up speech, an amplifier to process the signal which it sends through a loop cable laid round the perimeter of the room. The loop cable acts as an antenna which sends speech or music as a magnetic signal to the hearing aid or device.
